There are two urgent request for Manx Scouting to get involved with the Douglas Carnival

Represent Manx Scouting in the parade

It would be great to see as many members of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network, Active Support and leaders as possible joining in the parade in full uniform and showing the Island how fantastic Scouting is.

We need to meet 6 15pm on Sea Cliff Road in Onchan (White City).

Julie Leece would also appreciate help in decorating in the float if anyone is available on Saturday morning.

Island at War – Vintage Buses

The Isle of Man Transport are taking 9 vintage buses on the Douglas carnival procession this Saturday. One bus dedicated to Island at War.  The bus is being driven by Tim Vaughan (in uniform) with others riding as passengers.

If you wish to come along and join in the carnival fun, simply turn up at Banks Circus by 5:45pm for a 6pm start. We will take the buses up to the Port Jack end of the prom and join with all the floats for the parade along the prom at 7pm.

The bus should be back at Banks Circus for 8pm.
